Creative director, marketer, and multifamily expert, Brandi has committed her career to energizing real estate developments from a visual perspective. With an exceptional gift for bringing synergy and collaboration to the design process, Brandi—with her team of creative experts—has successfully helped owners develop and market everything from new construction apartments to urban high rises to distressed commercial assets ripe for repositioning nationwide. Brandi holds a Master’s degree in Housing and a B.S. in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management from Virginia Tech.

She began her career in the Washington, DC area at Avalon Bay, and then was hired as a marketing and development consultant with Bravo Strategic Marketing under industry expert Jennifer Nevitt. Next, Brandi became a founding member of YieldStar Technology, a yield-management software for the apartment industry. There she served dual roles as Director of Marketing and Director of Product Content, responsible for training large companies such as AMLI Residential and Camden Property Trust on best practices in pricing and yield management.

In 2002, at age 26, Brandi handed the reigns over to her entrepreneurial spirit and launched Brio Consulting, Inc. Through naming, theme development, landscape + architectural direction, signage, interior styling, photography, print collateral, interactive web experiences, and social media marketing, she works with her team of talented collaborators at The Mktg Dept to manage all key disciplines, pulling them together to develop unified brand strategies.

Brandi’s extensive knowledge of high-barrier markets across Connecticut is further enhanced by her 10 years of experience marketing a large portfolio of A+ through C properties along the eastern seaboard (including seven blocks of mixed use development in Hoboken, NJ). As a result, Brandi has a well-rounded awareness of challenges that owners face. She is adept at working with budgets at any level to help grow revenue and improve bottom-line results. Since her career began in 1998, she’s also consulted in major markets such as Baltimore, Richmond, Charlotte, Charleston, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, Dallas, and Houston.

She excels at developing branded outreach marketing and advertising plans and developing training curricula for on-site teams based on quantifiable decision making and best practices in property management. Brandi’s joy is giving back time to the students of Virginia Tech, where she teaches several career development classes each semester for the Residential Property Management program.
