Since founding Frankl Creative in 1990, Liz has channeled her talent and passion for design into helping her clients express themselves. As a business owner, she brings a unique perspective to her clients’ challenges; as a creative professional, she brings more than a quarter century of marketing and design experience, as well as a BFA In Communications Arts and Design from VCU, to every project she touches.
As important as it is to know great design and direction, it’s just as important to listen. Liz learns your business first. She talks with people and gathers information, and commits to staying personally involved in every project, every step of the way. The result? Impactful design and clear, attractive messages that resonates with your audience.
Liz’s work allows her to integrate three distinct passions: helping organizations find their voice, exploring the power of the written word, and celebrating the ways meaningful design and smart visual solutions make people sit up and take notice. Liz and her creative partners bring new ideas to market and work with business and nonprofit clients to design experiences, change behaviors and improve outcomes.
Leveraging a variety of talents, Frankl Creative’s experience spans identity and print, package design, web design, advertising, and large format signage. The firm’s client list ranges from educators including The University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Foxcroft School to gourmet food producers, such as Gunther’s Gourmet. Liz has executed creative campaigns for manufacturers such as Chervan Fine Furniture, inc. and real estate developers including New York’s Girona Ventures Inc. and Wonder Works Construction. Frankl Creative’s businesses and nonprofit experience includes local organizations including Carilion Clinic, Delta Dental Plan of Virginia, and the Better Business Bureau of Western Virginia to the Salvation Army in Boise Idaho and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
Frankl Creative’s work has been recognized through design awards including numerous Addys. Liz also received the area’s highest honor, the Howard Packett Award for Creative Excellence, and she readily admits, “It’s a whole lot easier to get up in the morning when you love what you do—so needless to say, I leap out of bed every morning!”
